Never too late to see well...
I found out about the surgery through the union I’m with. A bunch of the guys were having it done. Eventually I saw a 70-year-old guy get it done and that convinced me. They all recommend Dr. Kelly. It took me about 3 years to go get the surgery, and that whole time I was watching all these guys get the surgery and seeing their results.
So I just went to Dr. Kelly. I heard stories about not being able to see at night, but none of these things happened to me. After I got it done I took “glasses” off my CDL license. That was one of the first things I did.
The little things are great…
I was amazed at the results. I can read my watch and see the clock. Just being able to read the newspaper is so nice.
The staff was excellent. In fact, they were so helpful that when I came in for the surgery, I forgot my check and they allowed me to use the phone and transfer my money.
I had no presurgery worries. I got to wear these neat sunglasses after. What’s more, I don’t need reading glasses anymore, so I’m really happy about that!
Checking everything twice…
I had a vessel in my eye that was ruptured a long time ago and Dr. Kelly did all these procedures to make sure I was a candidate. After that was taken care of and I was qualified, I had the surgery about 3 months later.
The right eye was done in under a minute and the left eye was about a minute and half. There was no discomfort, it was just a little different.
Watching the game...
Everything is easier. I don’t have to ask what’s the score at a Yankee game. I can see without having to go get my glasses. Dr. Kelly is a miracle!
